ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
I spent the first six years after high school in the US Air Force as a Korean linguist. My job involved a high-level of attention to detail, and I managed training for over 100 people.
After the military, I attended graduate school, and found my way back to the Midwest to raise my kids. I worked for a medical device company, coffee shop, and a bank over the years.
In 2016, I accepted a job with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. I first worked in benefits, then transferred to the finance department at the medical center in Minneapolis. Working in finance gave me experience handling large budgets and reviewing complex contracts.
In order to better accommodate the changes this past year, I now work as the Office Administrator of my local church.
